The Triple Crown rating is the gold standard for sheriff’s offices across the country. Earning this rating takes a lot of hard work, dedication, and resources.
This rating is accredited by the Commission on the Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies, the American Correctional Association's Commission on Accreditation for Corrections, and the National Commission on Correctional Healthcare. Only the top sheriffs are able to earn a rating from all three commissions at one time.
While the rating is certainly a feather in our cap, the process and attention to detail that’s required to earn such a rating is what I’m most after.
