SUMMARY: Craig Owens (D) formally announces candidacy for Sheriff of Cobb County, Ga.
WHO: Craig Owens has over thirty years of law enforcement service with Cobb County Police Department and an extensive career in the U.S. Army. During his career in Cobb County, he has worked various assignments including uniform patrol, criminal investigations, special operations, adjutant to the chief of police, SWAT, ranger services and animal services. He also is a certified general instructor. He currently serves as the commander of precinct two in Cobb County.
